The STL RAMS! Close, not the worst team in the NFL but the 2nd or 3rd worst. YET, they still managed to beat the skins…while I was at the game…still bitter. PFT (www.profootballtalk.com) has a turd watch section dedicated to tracking NFL arrests. It’s funny and sad.
Oh yeah, and btw- the DEF player of the year on the SB champions has some “interesting” charges, notably- beating his GF. Some of these sutd DEF players are class-acts.
I’m sure they put their money to good use too… I can only hope that most of these filthy overpaid players also invested heavily in the stock martket. HAHA, yeah right, they probably have no clue about the economy right now bc they out in paradise somewhere sleeping on mattresses full of cash!
RB’s definitely can make an impact first year out of college, but not so much with the WR. Coleston was a rarity and I think one rookie WR blew up last year but for most players it takes time. I just think it’s harder to get used to the NFL DB’s who are faster and smarter, along with different passing routes. RB’s get ball, run, get hit, get up, repeat… That doesn’t change a whole lot in the NFL, except it probably hurts more in the NFL and they don’t go as far.
HAHA, i like your idea for the first 3 picks… seriously, why the fuck NOT! You can argue that we have a good/decent/quality player and just about every other positions now.
I guess LB’s are hurting alittle, but with Fletcher there and the dynamic safety’s we have, if that is thier only weak spot we should be OK. I guess there was demand for HALL. I was very happy to see that we kept him. I was afraid with Fat Albert joining we wouldn’t have enough mullah for him. He had a 100 mil contract with the raiders. Atleast he performed with the skins. I still think we need some CB help esp going guys like T.O. in conf. If only the skins could keep Taylor too, I think their DEF would be SICK!
And do you realize that there could be an uncapped year in 2010 (maybe 2011). The skins could turn into the Yankees! I’d love it!
Always optomistic this time of season… Haha, I do loose hope fast though.
